About the Event
Spend a week weaving your own fabric to create a one of a kind tunic. We will weave approximately 4 yards on pre warped rigid heddle looms, with lightly striated designs that can be individually interpreted with various patterns and colors. If time allows, an additional handbag project can be woven as well, and completed in the allotted time.
Everyone works at a different pace. Those that are finished weaving early, will have time to complete both the tunic and the bag. Others will be able to complete the assembly of their tunic prior to the end of class.
Dahlia is a hand weaver and fine couture seamstress, who will guide you through every aspect of your project, for a successful and completed wearable art tunic. We will have many fine natural fiber yarns for you to choose from.
