About the Event
Learn to weave on pre warped rigid heddle looms which will be available to you in a variety of colors for you to define your weaving direction. Using cotton yarns or repurposed cotton fabric strips, you will be proud of your new table runner, either for yourself or for gift giving. Your finished placemats will be something that you will be proud to own for generations to come.
No previous experience is necessary, as you will be guided by Dahlia through the weaving, design and finishing process.
Consider bringing your own fabrics to cut into strips and weave with. These can include a son’s flannel shirt, a husband’s neckties, patterned sheets which are no longer in service, etc. Dahlia will have many cotton fabric strips to choose from as well.
