About the Event
In these 2 sessions Sept 28 and Oct 5, you will learn to master the art of hand weaving and weave a table runner, to be taken home at the end of the 2 sessions. The provided rigid heddle looms will be pre warped and ready to weave on. No previous experience is necessary, as you will be guided by Dahlia throughout the weaving, design and finishing process. We will be weaving with repurposed cotton fabric strips on rigid heddle looms. No previous experience is needed. Each student will be encouraged to see this way of weaving as a potential form of art and design which will be foremost in determining a unique runner.
