About the Event
In this 2 day workshop, learn to master the art of hand weaving and weave a table runner and a set of placemats, to be taken home at the end of the workshop.
No previous experience is necessary, as you will be guided by Dahlia through the weaving, design and finishing process.
We will be weaving with repurposed cotton fabric strips on rigid heddle looms. Each student will be encouraged to see this way of weaving as a potential form of art and design which will be foremost in determining a unique runner and placemats.
Weave on rigid heddle looms, which will be prepped prior to the class, so all you have to do is weave a wonderful design of your own making.
