About the Event
Weave a Leno Table Runner
Learn to weave Leno, in all its applications and textures, as an open work woven technique. Handweaving leno creates an open, lacy fabric by twisting pairs of warp threads around each other.
Explore the many variations within this technique which lends itself to an exciting and visually interesting, airy and durable fabric.
You will weave a cotton table runner of your own design which you will take home at the end of the session.
Materials fee $25
This is an intermediate workshop. Must have some previous weaving experience.
